it may seem a bit twee, but i've always tempered the ever-so-slight edgier part of my wardrobe, with a touch of humour. i think humour is one of the most important facets of life, that it's a shame not to include it somewhere in your sense of style. i may wear black a lot, but that doesn't necessarily mean that my mood follows the same hue.
so items like a double-buckle jumper from opening ceremony that could easily be worn by child becomes that much more adult with fantastic layering and a killer pair of shoes. which is how, of course, i'd wear this...
