the chanel girl, never a disappointment, ran down the runway with its history on her mind. of course, this means that karl wasn't thinking of frugality, but instead went into the archives and did black suits galore turning beau brummel into "belle brummel" and classic chanel-isms, like the cardigan-jacket trotted itself out in baby-pink wool, accompanied by similarly hued leg warmers.
and as only the kaiser can dream of doing, seeing lara stone dressed up as a modern day, interlocking Cs barbie, was a sight for somewhat bored eyes...
